REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 11th November
"Lest we Forget"
Our services at Christ Church (10:30am) and St Clement's (10:00am) on Sunday 11th November will include a 2 Minutes period of silence to remember those who have fallen during combat. Symbols of remembrance will be brought forward and laid before the altar. Please join us for these special services.
On 11th November 1918 the Armistice was signed at Redonthes. The war to end all wars was over.
Today at 4:00pm at St Clements we remember those from within our midst who fell in the conflict, and those whose lives were changed forever. We welcome you to this special anniversary service of readings, music, prayers and silence. The church has been specially decorated for the occasion and a Wall of Remembrance has been created to enable visitors to pin a poppy up as they remember their own who lost their lives or were injured. There will also be a guest book for visitors to sign which will become a part of the church archive. Refreshments available from 3pm.
CHRISTMAS FAIR Saturday 17th November 12 noon
We will hold our annual Christmas Fair on Saturday 17th November. All are welcome to join us for this joyful occasion. Stalls and activities will be in the Parish hall, whilst refreshments and Santa's grotto will be in the church. Don't miss out.
