Church Hall

Christ Church Hall is recognised by all who use it as providing first class facilities for groups of all ages. The hall includes a kitchen that has been refubished to ensure it meets the requirements of the local environmental health office.

Details of groups using the Parish Hall are given below. The calendar gives details of days and times when groups meet.

Brownies and Guides

The 7th Davyhulme Brownies meets in the Parish Centre on Monday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:45pm.

The 4th Davyhulme Guides meet in the Parish Centre on Friday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.

Both groups do not meet during school holidays.

Dance Like a Mother

Fun, friendly and relaxed exercise and dance classers for Mum's and their babies. No finess or dance experience necessary; just come and have fun.

Carriers available and fitted safe and comfy by Babywearing Peer Support trained instructors.


Faye-Starr School of Dance

A ballet and tap dance class for young girls meets on Saturday mornings from 9:30am to 11:30am.

Donna is always willing to welcome new students to her classes..

Monday Dance Club

The Monday Dance Club is one of the longest established groups which use the Parish Hall at Christ Church. The programme consists of sequence dancing to recorded music. Regular events through the year include a Hot Pot supper, a Christmas Party, a Bring and Buy event, a St Georges' Dance and a summer outing.

If you enjoy dancing please come along and join on Mondays between 1:30 and 3:30pm. 

Stay and Play

Run by a team of dedicated volunteers, Christ Church Davyhulme Stay and Play is a community led playgroup for all children under 5yrs of age.

We have a range of activities which the children can enjoy, and our exciting snack time encourages and promotes healthy eating.

We are proud to continue serving this long established playgroup to the community, and we will continue to do so for more years to come.

Steppin Out Dance Classes

Dance for exercise or just dance for pleasure, whatever the occasion Steppin Out Dance Centre is the place for you. We specialise in classes for all levels whether it be an absolute beginner or for those of a more competitive nature.  Styles include Ballroom and Latin American; Salsa and Latino; American Smooth; Line Dancing; Rock and Roll; and for  children up to the age of 16 years – Ballet and Tap; Ballroom and Latin American; Hip Hop; Street Dance; Freestyle and Rock and Roll.
