We believe being a Christian is about more than just coming to church on a Sunday – Jesus is our best friend and saviour, he wants us to acknowledge him in all that we do.
There's plenty going on during the week at Christ Church, whether you’re interested in exploring faith or getting to know people from the community.

Community café, Mondays 9:30-11:30am
Drop in on our community café in the church hall anytime between 9:30am and 11:30am. It’s a warm, safe space where you’ll find a warm welcome. There’s toys for kids, a book swap, space to relax and people to talk to.
Refreshments are free.
Just turn up or contact us for more information.
Our café is a registered Place of Welcome and Warm Welcome Space.
Fellowship groups, Tuesday evenings & Thursday daytime
The word “fellowship” has two biblical meanings:
Sharing life with fellow believers (Acts 2:42)
Our union with Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:9)
Fellowship groups are small groups of around 10 people that aim to deepen both and are one of the ways we love others in our church family.
We spend time together reading and talking about a bible passage, sharing and praying together, and encouraging each other in our faith.
Fellowship groups meet at various locations on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. There’s also a group for women, with toys for preschoolers, on Thursday mornings 10:00-11:30am, and a group for men on Thursday afternoons 1:00-2:30pm.

Stay & Play playgroup, Tuesdays 9:30-11:30am
Stay and Play is a community-led playgroup for under 5s and their carers. Our aim is to be an encouragement to carers and help support your child’s healthy development.
We have a range of activities which the children can enjoy, and our snack time promotes healthy eating.
Join us in the church hall on Tuesday mornings. No need to book; just turn up. Check out Facebook for more information.
Wednesday prayer gathering
Our weekly prayer meeting takes place in the main church building on Wednesdays from 9:00-10:00am. It is a simple, unstructured time where we read a Psalm and spend time in prayer together.

The Explore Course
We regularly run informal courses that explore the Christian faith.
If you’ve got questions about what Christians believe, then this group is for you.
No question is too simple or too hostile. You don't need any prior knowledge and you won't be forced to do anything you don't want to. It’s simply a friendly, safe space to find out more about Jesus.
